Entertainment
There is plenty of entertainment to be had in the Peak District and all within easy distance of Tideswell. The Buxton Opera House has a music festival that draws people from all over the country as well as regular drama, music, dance and comedy. And if you want to do something when its raining check out the Chesterfield Cineworld Complex where you will find plenty of entertainment. Closer to home Tideswell has its own library where you can borrow books or check out some local history.
There are fabulous local walks that you can take which take you past all the historic sites within the village - check out the Tourist Information section within Vanilla Kitchen or in Tindall's bakery where you can pick up pamphlets from the Visit Tideswell Group, detailing the history of the village, it's landmarks and it's surrounding areas of interest.
Also, check out the village noticeboard, to the side of the Co operative in Bank Square Gardens, which details all coming attractions to the village - there is always something going on!
