Monyash Christmas

Posted on Friday, 04 December 2009 01:08PM by Simon Corble
On Friday 18th December Monyash celebrates Christmas in its own unique way, with an evening of carols, readings, poetry and music all performed by people from the village. Although St. Leonard’s church plays host to the event, it is principally a "non-religious" celebration - people of all faiths and none are equally welcome. It starts at 7.30pm - but get there early if you want a seat! - It is nearly always "standing room only" by the time the first carol gets going.
