Tidewell offers a great starting and stopping point for so many walks, or can be a midway point as you traverse the Peak District. Whether it be through Tidesdale Dale, which leads out on to the Monsal Trail and off to Buxton, or if you want to catch the Limestone Way which can take you from Rocester in the Staffordshire border all the way to Castleton, and is the Derbyshire's longest distance trail covering the whol width of the county, Tideswell has some stunning walking that will thrill all with it's beautiful terrain and stunning scenery.
There are a number of set walks that you can do, with some examples in these pages, though even taking shorted walks out to Wheston or over to Litton and Wardlow can give great pleasure and allow you to take in the joys of the local villages and lovely surrounds.
